This is an aerobic dance-fitness class that will get your heart pumping learning an original, short dance fitness routine with some sculpting and toning moves intertwined. No dance experience needed - this class will bring confidence and encourage self-expression. Come ready to sweat!
Class Breakdown:
Warm-up (10 min): Stretching and strength work (core, arms, glutes, legs).
Routine (10 min): Participants learn a short dance routine (the typical length is around 8-10 eight counts). The routine is taught without music to counts; modifications are offered. Each routine involves a floor section (typically planks, mountain climbers, sit ups, etc.) for some interval training. Once the routine is learned to counts, music section starts.
Cardio Dancing Section (20 min): Approximately 8-10 songs for about 30 min of cardio dancing. The songs start slow (~100 bpm) and progress to a faster pace (max~130 bpm).
Cool-Down (5 min): Stretching to end class.
