What makes this studio different from other studios/gyms?

The people at GVO truly make it great, every instructor truly takes the time to get to know you rather than just being another face showing up to class and that’s something I value when becoming a member at a studio. 

How have you managed to stay consistent with your workouts?

I won’t lie, consistency is something I still struggle with. Working long hours every day can deter me from making it to my workout, but knowing the community that I have at the studio truly pushes me every day to show up for 45 minutes to help become a better version of myself than I was the day before. 

On days when you’re tired or busy, what pushes you to still show up?

Getting to the studio is always the hardest part. But once I’m there and finish a workout, I’m reminded exactly why I keep coming back. The energy from the instructors and the community around me is what truly keeps me motivated. 

What’s one move you love… and one you wish would disappear forever?

I love a good plank series— even when my shoulders are on fire, it makes me feel stronger every time. I could definitely do without Shiva squats though 😅 

What’s something about you people at the studio might be surprised to know?

I’m a pediatric occupational therapist, I work with children with a variety of disabilities ranging from autism, ADHD, and sensory processing disorders. My passion has always been helping others, and I love every second of my job!
